On road and offroad navigation for adventure motorcyclists — on your phone and on your bike’s dashboard.
software made by a rider, for riders.

PTNav is a navigation app built for riders who leave the pavement. Load a GPX track, drop a destination anywhere on the map, and get clear navigation guidance across tracks, trails and forest roads — not just sealed roads. It works with no signal, mirrors straight to your motorcycle’s head unit.
Built for riding off the grid
- Genuinely offline. Maps, routing data and your GPX files all live on the device. Once a region is downloaded, PTNav needs no connection for the rest of the ride.
- Smart online/offline switching. When you have signal, new areas stream in on demand and are quietly cached as you view them. When you don’t, a downloaded region covering your location is used automatically — so you’re never left staring at a blank map.
- Download regions ahead of time over Wi-Fi: whole countries or individual US states. Explicit downloads never expire; opportunistic cache is pruned after 30 days.
GPX track following
- Import any .gpx file and see the full track drawn on the map.
- Pick and show only the sections of a long route you care about.
- Reverse gpx route direction with ease.
Point-anywhere routing
- Long-press the map to set an ad-hoc destination — same gesture on-road and off.
- Route profiles: mixed, on-road preferred, off-road preferred, or off-road only, plus “avoid highways” and best / fastest / shortest preferences.
- Alternative routes to choose from, one-tap route reversal, and settings that re-apply instantly to a route already on screen.
- Address, place-name and city search, plus one-tap POI search for fuel, food, ATMs, hotels, groceries and pharmacies.
Turn-by-turn on your motorcycle’s screen
- No additional devices needed!
- Pairs with the bike by scanning the QR code on the dashboard — Bluetooth and Wi-Fi handoff happen automatically, and your phone keeps its cellular internet while connected to the bike’s hotspot.
- Works with Kove, CFMoto, QJ Motor and compatible brands.
- The same map and instructions you see on the phone appear on the dash.
- Auto-reconnects whenever a saved motorcycle is nearby.
Accurate, steady guidance
- Dead-reckoning motion fusion keeps your position and the map moving smoothly between GPS fixes, instead of the jumpy once-a-second hops raw GPS gives you.
- Learned-speed ETA that adapts to how you actually ride, with a stable arrival time and distance-remaining estimate.
- Weather and dashboard telemetry pushed to the head unit alongside navigation.
Requirements
- Iphone (not yet supported)
- Android 14 or newer.
- Any Android phone works standalone; a compatible Kove or Carbit EasyConn motorcycle head unit is optional and adds the dashboard display.
- One-time map and routing-data download per region, over Wi-Fi.
